We have another exciting announcement today: carting will be offered at the championships, on November 3, in Elizabeth City! Ann Schallert will serve as judge, Bill Walker as trial chair, and Kate Schallert as secretary. The Carting Trial will be at the same facility as herding, and will start at 9:00 am. The trial will be followed by a Carting Clinic. Both carting and herding will be flexible enough so those who want to enter both will be able to. Carting will be open to all breeds with Bouviers given preference and with a limit of 12 entries. Trial fee $30 for NAWBA members and $35 for non members, clinic fee $15.

We are delighted to announce that the 2010 Championships will feature herding on Wednesday, November 3, in Elizabeth City, NC. Check back soon for herding details. You may have noticed that we also have a new official logo on the main page of the website. Thanks much to Lynn Vellios, Bajoron Bouviers & Humphrey Dog Art for her fine work. It's been a while since our last update to the website, but hopefully the next few weeks will be full of lots of updates!

We've added a new feature, "Who's Training Now?" You can get to this section by visiting the "Competitors" tab. This new feature will highlight handler/bouvier teams working toward the 2010 Championships.
We've also added a "Stay Connected" section, for those who are training to keep up to date with each other's activities. It can be reached from the right-hand menu on the "Welcome" or "Competitors" tabs. Blogs from Kari and Julia have been linked, as well as our new Facebook page. Let us know what you think!
